Parrot fish

Parrot fish live in tropical seas mainly around coral reefs. they are often brightly coloured in red green and blue and there teeth look just look like a parrots beak. Parrot fish use their bony beaks to scrape coral and molluscs and to nip off the seaweed that they feed on. parrot fish often gather in groups to search for food.

  1. Interesting facts. We have a book on sharks at home and there is one that is only found in Australia and it is called 'Shaggy Beard'. You know why? Because it looks like a shaggy beard. Thanks for sharing your facts!
